Avocado Toast Recipe
If you are tired of the mundane, plain bread and butter toast you may want to try Avocado toast.
Avocado is the fruit of the Avocado tree. This fruit lends itself to a diverse array of recipes with many nutritious benefits. Avocado is a fibrous fruit, which helps with digestion and also consists of healthy fat and antioxidants.
This has been one of my favorite, yet, simplest recipe I wish to share with my readers. In addition, this recipe is low cost, easily accessible and is more filling, meaning more “bang for your buck. “
Just a note: when I typed out the steps for this recipe, it can be overwhelming. Know that as you learn this recipe it becomes second nature; and feel free to add your favorite seasonings and herbs to replace the seasonings and herbs I have provided.

Ingredients
1 slices of Whole Grain Bread/Whole Wheat Bread
1/2 Avocado
a dash of Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Garlic Pepper
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
1 Egg (optional)
Directions:
Cut Avocado in half and remove seed
Place toast in toaster or oven
Meanwhile, scoop out the flesh of 1 half of the avocado
Mash avocado flesh with a fork
mix in seasons- garlic pepper, sea salt, garlic powder and onion powder
squeeze a dash of lemon juice to keep from browning
Be sure to check the toast to see if it is done.
Begin to warm up your skillet (be sure to coat skilled with non-stick spray/butter)
Add egg, cook to your desire consistency.
In the image the egg is scrambled
Crack egg in a bowl
Season with a dash of salt and pepper
stir quickly with a fork
Place on heated skillet
As egg in skillet, scramble it with a fork.
Place 2 toasts on plate, smear avocado mixture on top, place warm egg last.
