Here is what you need:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds of baby spinach leaves
1 TBS of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 TSP of Garlic Powder
1/4 TSP of Sea Salt
A pinch of red pepper flakes
Directions:
Rinse the spinach off in vinegar and water mix to deep clean the leaves. Drain the spinach and dry off with a towel or paper towel to eliminate as much moisture as possible.
Warm up the skillet on medium to high heat. Heat the olive oil.
Next add the spinach leaves, garlic powder, sea salt and red pepper flakes. Toss the leaves to coat evenly.
Cook until all of the leaves are wilted.
Turn off the heat. With the use of spoon place leaves into a serving bowl.
TIPS
Add a dash of lemon juice after placing spinach in serving bowl.
Use garlic cloves, saute in the olive oil until golden brown. This should be done prior to adding the spinach leaves.
Try different seasons or flavored olive oils to see what works for your taste.
