Supporting Events Even When You Can't Show Up

On March 16, 2024, Reynelda Jones, the Founder and Owner of A Solution B, will be hosting an event called the Worthy of Wellness Women's Summit. The main goal of this summit is to bring women together with local health and wellness resources, foster a sense of community, and actively promote their well-being. Since the inception of this event, it has been promoted for almost a year.

Although this event has been promoted for some time, it's inevitable that there will be times when you're unable to attend events that you'd love to support. Whether it's due to conflicting schedules, distance, or other commitments, there are still plenty of ways to show your support without physically being present. Here are a few effective ways to support events even if you can't attend:

1. Spread the Word

One of the most powerful ways to support an event you can't attend is by spreading the word. Share event details on your social media profiles, forward emails about the event, pin event invites to Pinterest, create posts to inform your friends and followers, and encourage others to attend in your place. Word-of-mouth promotion can significantly boost event visibility and attendance.

2. Volunteer Your Skills

Offering your skills and expertise, even from a distance, can make a meaningful impact. Whether it's graphic design, marketing, providing in-kind gifts, give aways or event planning, reach out to the event organizers to see if there's any virtual assistance you can provide. Your contributions can be invaluable in ensuring the event's success.

3. Financial Support

If you can't attend an event or a charity gala, consider making a financial contribution to the cause. Many events offer the option to donate or purchase tickets for others who may not have the means to attend. Your support can directly benefit the event's mission and objectives.

Are you unable to attend the Worthy of Wellness Women’s Summit in March 2024, but would like to give to the cause? Make your donation below and we will make sure your donation makes it to Women At Risk, International (WAR). Your donation will help support safe housing for women and their families who are now safe from human trafficking.

Help Support Future Women's Summits

The Worthy of Wellness Women's Summit is a significant undertaking, both in terms of its scale and financial implications. Our ultimate goal is to establish this event as an annual occurrence, while also providing virtual options for individuals who reside far away. With your generous support, as well as the backing of our community, we can certainly make this vision a reality. I firmly believe that this event serves as a crucial platform, and in order to sustain its yearly presence, financial assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Donations to support the ongoing event can be as little as $5.00, which is equivalent to the cost of a Venti/ Tall latte at Starbucks. You can easily make your contribution by clicking the "Support" button below. Your generous support will greatly contribute to the success of this event.

4. Amplify the Event Online

Engage with the event's online presence by participating in live discussions, following event updates, and interacting with other attendees virtually. By actively engaging with the event on social media or through live streams, you can show your support and help create a buzz around the event.

To promote the Worthy of Wellness Women's Summit, we invite you to connect on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn. Don't forget to tag A Solution B so that we can express our gratitude by responding to your engagement.

5. Purchase a ticket to offer to another

The opportunity to purchase a ticket for a friend or acquaintance to attend an event can not only be a kind and considerate gesture but also carry significant value for the event organizers. By extending this invitation, not only are you showing generosity and goodwill, but you are also contributing to the overall success and inclusivity of the event.

Below, I have provided an event ticket to our Women's Summit, which includes comprehensive and detailed information about the event. Simply click on the image to purchase a ticket and offer it to someone special.

6. Connect the Organizers with Others

If you're unable to attend, consider connecting the event organizers with potential sponsors, speakers, or collaborators who can contribute to the success of the event. Making introductions and facilitating connections demonstrates your commitment to supporting the event's goals.

7. Plan a Satellite Event

If it's feasible, consider organizing a smaller, related event in your own community to coincide with the main event. This could be a viewing party, a local panel discussion, or an awareness-building event. By aligning your efforts with the main event, you can still contribute to its overall impact. At A Solution B, we specialize in providing Corporate Tea Meditations and other wellness presentations that align seamlessly with Worthy of Wellness Women's Summit event's mission and objectives. Our offerings are designed to enhance the overall experience and promote well-being among participants

8. Request Assistance from Your Employer

Perhaps you are interested in attending, but financial constraints pose a challenge. In this case, I suggest reaching out to your employer to inquire about potential scholarships or funding opportunities that could support not only your attendance but also that of your coworkers. It is worth noting that employers recognize the importance of self-care, as it ultimately enhances productivity within the work environment.

Summary

While being physically present at an event is often ideal, there are numerous alternative ways to show support and contribute to its success, even from a distance. By leveraging your resources, network, and online platforms, you can make a meaningful difference and ensure that your support is felt, regardless of your ability to attend in person.

Let me know through the comments if there's anything I overlooked. How have you shown support for events you couldn't be present at? Your thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
