Money Mindset Limiting Beliefs

Money Affirmations

  •  I am a money magnet.

  • Money is a resource that will help me provide for the life I love.

  • Money helps me make a big difference

  • My money is abundant

  • Money flows through me easily and consistently.

  • Money comes easy to me.

  • I am successful!

Money Magnet & Limited Beliefs

The #1 thing that is stopping people from being money magnets is their mindset. Don’t roll your eyes at me with this term. I know you have heard the term mindset a lot in recent years. That is because we have a better understanding of its effects now. We are more open to improving in areas where we maybe aren’t as strong.

You can’t fake a positive mindset but you sure as shit can fake it until you make it. Changing your mindset is like going to the gym. It takes time, patience, and exercise.

Abundance Mindset

Have you been trying to have an abundance mindset but still not seeing progress? You might be practicing positive affirmations once or twice a day but you are subconsciously practicing negative affirmations throughout the rest of the day. Which is natural when you are first starting out. It is a process! Once you recognize your thought patterns then you can change them. You don’t know what you don’t know. Your negative beliefs are holding you back from your full potential. But how can you know what your negative beliefs about money are? You’re going to be mindful and honest with yourself. Know that it is being pointed out you are going to be mindful going forward. Listen to yourself as you go about your day. Stop yourself when you realize a negative thought. Write it down on paper or in the notes on your phone. Track these thoughts! Once you can recognize what these negative thoughts are then you can start changing them. Once you get a negative thought I challenge you to combat it with a positive one. Keep doing this over and over again.

Take time to appreciate yourself.

Can I be honest with you? When I first started my journey as a money magnet my most common negative thoughts were “I am scared this won’t really work for me…” “What if I will always struggle financially?” Being a divorced, single mother in society's eyes I am meant to always struggle. I refused to become a statistic. Because I KNOW that I am a force to be reckoned with. I know that money isn’t bad! I know that women who make stupid amounts of money are more likely than men to do GOOD with their money and make sustainable changes. THIS is a statistic that I want to be part of.

Growing up as a millennial I was always taught that having money was bad. I was raised in the church and was told “money is the root of all evil.” Cringe! Why did we ever believe this? Money is paper, it isn’t inherently evil! Money can do amazing things. It can help build schools, feed the homeless, feed our families. It all depends on how each person handles their money. Money itself is not the problem. You are not a greedy person are you? Because someone else may use their money for bad and greed, does that mean YOU will? No, of course not! You are a flipping good human. You want your family to live comfortably. You want to experience the world. Maybe there are some charities that are close to your heart. Do you know how you’re going to help them? Money. When you start making stupid money you are going to make positive changes to the world. You are going to make a positive impact! You are going to bring change.

Money Doesn’t Buy Happiness

Babe, if you are unhappy without money… you will be unhappy with it too. Yes, making more money comes down to you as a person first. Not some crazy business and marketing strategy. Of course it helps too but for the life you want you’ll need to work through some hard stuff personally first. I highly recommend looking into some kind of therapy to grow as a person. Therapy is not one size fits all. There are many different kinds! Find one that works for you!

True happiness is something you find within yourself.

Does Money Bring Happiness?

When are you your happiest? Stop for a moment and think about it. What makes you feel absolutely fulfilled? What makes you happy? Here are a few ways to start this journey in finding your fulfilled happy.

  • Stop chasing happy. Happy is not a destination where once you finally feel happy you’ll feel that way forever. True happiness is something you find within yourself.

  • What is holding you back from feeling truly free and happy? Discover these barriers and remove them.

  • Practice looking within.

  • Work on things that help build your self esteem. There are several exercises you can start with like positive reinforcement.

  • Remember to be present. Take in life, pause, and choose to be happy.

  • Take time to appreciate yourself.

  • Get enough sleep!

  • Take care of your body! Food is meant to be fuel and your body is meant to move.

  • Keep company with people who are positive and create positive energy.

Show gratitude to the money that you DO have. Make smart money moves.
