Self-Care

Mental Health Experts’ Favorite Self-Care Tools and Interventions

The topic of Self-Care is creating a buzz on social media from every market and professional in mental health and coaching.

In my previous 2018 blog post, I took it upon myself to roundup items I utilize in my office and share my Favorite Things with my readers that may be helpful to you as well, which can be viewed in the article regarding my favorite things in 2018. Four years later, I may just have to update the list. 😊

Not long after, I reached out to my “sister colleagues” and asked them to share self-care tools and interventions they have created and/or tools and interventions they enjoy utilizing with their clients. Their response to my request was impressive and I thought why not share these valuable tools with my readers.

Although self-care has become the buzzword within the last few years, self-care has always been needed. And I must add, self-care extends beyond manicures and pedicures. True self-care incorporates multiple facets of life such as, mental, physical, spiritual, financial, social and so much more.

Start where you can! And if you need tips and tricks, the products provided below may just ignite self-care ideas for you and your family.

With the items below, I’ve asked my sister colleagues to provide a brief statement as to why they feel this tool/intervention is beneficial.

Brittany Johnson : “Self Sabotage is the #1 dream killer. In this book I outline the top categories related to self sabotage, strategies to change it and a 21 day plan to implement it. Get Out Of Your Own Way 21 Days to Stop Self Sabotage”

Gena Golden: “I’m loving the Positive feedback and responses that I’m receiving about my prescription pad for Mental Health Practitioners!”
