The Blanket Solution
On 16 December 2017 A Solution B hosted the First Annual Blanket Solution Party. Reynelda Jones and guests took part in making tie blankets to be donated to human trafficking survivors through Women At Risk International (WAR).
Guests had the opportunity to experience some techniques used with clients of Reynelda in regard to reducing symptoms of anxiety and trauma.
SAVE THE DATE
This year, on the 8th of December at 1:00 pm-4:00 pm, A Solution B will be hosting the 2nd Annual Blanket Solution event at Baker's Book House. Admission will simply require the donation of one toy per person.
All toys and blankets will be donated to Ellnora's Kitchen in order to bolster their Annual Food Giveaway to local youth. Members from Women at Risk International will be present as well selling hand-made jewelry and whose profits will be used to support survivors of human trafficking.
ALL ARE WELCOME
This will be a comfortable environment and an opportunity to meet new and wonderful people who care about giving back to the community and individuals rescued from from human trafficking. There will be refreshments, as well as, discussions on mental health and well-being and guests will be contributing to noble cause.
General public is welcome to attend.
